After an initial organizational meeting in April 2015, a Steering Committee met in May, where an interim Board and task chairs were elected and went about the process of obtaining recognition as a Chapter of PFLAG. This was completed in early July, and we held our first regular monthly meeting on July 9, 2015.
PFLAG Greenville meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greenville, located at 131 Oakmont Drive, just off Charles Blvd. across the side street from Fitness Connection. Meetings start at 7pm with a Support Group, followed by a general meeting or special program at 8pm.
We serve not only Greenville and Pitt County, but also other surrounding counties not served by PFLAG Chapters, namely Beaufort, Greene, Lenoir, and Martin Counties, where many of our participants live.
